Young Writers Awarded at Ocean Academy
BY: David Berman, Teacher of the Handicapped
Last spring, the high school students at OceanMHS‘s Ocean Academy entered a writing competition with the Young Writers Association of New Jersey. They were asked to write a short story, no longer then 100 words about an apocalyptic future world. We are proud to announce that two of our student’s short stories were chosen to be published. Their work will appear in the November 30th publication called, “Survival Sagas: Mission Catastrophe.” Let’s give a big shout out to Elijah Spikes and the other student, who wishes to remain anonymous.
