Ocean Academy Students will begin a Pumpkin project next week in anticipation of Halloween! Our project began with a visit to Argos Farm in Forked River to make our pumpkin selections; a very important first step of our project! Students will then select an event from history, a poem or piece of literature to depict on their pumpkin. Then the real work begins!!!! Artistic juices will flow as the paint brushes come out and the pumpkin stories take shape. When the pumpkins are completed students will present to their classmates along with an oral presentation explaining their “pumpkin work of art.” Pumpkins will then be on display around the building for all to enjoy!
