Fishing and Crabbing at Anchor House
Sitting on the Dock of the Bay
BY: Charla Godbolt, Support Staff, OA
Once again the students went on their yearly, catch and release fishing and crabbing trip. The weather was sunny and beautiful and the water was calm. The students had a great time. Some chose to try their luck and patiently wait for a good catch or to just relax by the water, taking in the views of the colorful boats sailing in the water. They students enjoyed the day and fun was had by all. What a great way to end the week!
Did you know: Never store crabs in a bucket of water after catching them. They will eventually use up all of their oxygen and suffocate. What a close call…thank you Mr. Corbett!
