Ocean MHS presents a Continuing Education Session via Zoom on: Outpatient Detox
Addiction is a disease that affects family members as well as patients. OMHS will walk alongside you as a family throughout the journey. Ambulatory Withdrawal Management AWM, more commonly called outpatient detox, is a safe way to detox from opiates in an outpatient environment. Ocean Mental Health Services (OMHS) offers safe, confidential assessments and treatment recommendations using the American Society of Addiction Medicine ASAM criteria.
Please join us on Wednesday November 25th from 9 am to 10 am to learn about Outpatient Detoxification. Attendees completing the full session will earn 1 Continuing Education credit pursuant to N.J.S.A. 13:44G-6.4 c 9.
Call OMHS for a screening to decide together if AWM can help you with a safe alternative to an inpatient stay. OMHS offers Medication Assisted Treatment alternatives as well.

Lauren Roberts, LAC holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Monmouth University a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Caldwell College and is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey. Ms. Robert is currently the Clinical Supervisor for the Ambulatory Withdrawal Management program at Ocean Mental Health Services and is continuing to provide integrated care to those suffering from Opioid addiction and withdrawal.
Anthony Scrofine, BA, BSN, RN-BC has worked in mental health and substance abuse for nearly ten years. He specializes in withdrawal management and the detox process. He recently joined Ocean Mental Health Services as they launched their ambulatory withdrawal management (AWM).
